A Little Black Dress is my favorite wardrobe staple because it's versatile for nearly any occasion. While my wardrobe is stocked full of LBDs, my little white dresses are far and few between. Since there are only a few more weeks of summer, I wanted to share the LWD dress I've been reaching for lately.
I was drawn to the LWD (photographed below) for its thick, opaque material and mock-neck top. The ribbed fabric texture adds visual interest and layers nicely with other textures and more intricate patterns, while the white color provides a crisp, summer look.
A simple white dress is the perfect palette for a bold necklace, so I've paired the dress with a chunky black necklace I purchased at a NYC street fair.
To add sophistication, I wore a pair of pointed nude heels. I could easily swap the heels for a pair of sandals to make it a daytime appropriate outfit.
